Back in a week-ish
I’m going someplace flat, and not bringing a camera.
The lynx spiders here are a lovely green for most of their lives. In late summer the females get big and fancy, with patterns of pink and white as well as green.
These photos were taken in September, when the spider was nearly ready to make her egg sac and stand guard until hatching day, shrinking all the while.
