I generally take photos of nature, but sometimes human stuff turns up along the way.  In this case, really sad human stuff.

We found this abandoned long-term camp site in the oil and gas fields near Aztec, NM.  It was home to a family with at least two small children who liked Spider-Man and the Wiggles.  I don’t know where they went or why they left all their things behind, but it seems like a safe bet that Spider-Man did not come to the rescue.  I hope they’re okay.
